“I’m all for it,” she instructed Fox Enterprise on Tuesday.
On Monday, the second household revealed Marlon Bundo’s Day in the Life of the Vice President, a narrative detailing the day by day adventures of its pet rabbit. It was written by Charlotte Pence and illustrated by her mom, Karen Pence.
To name out Pence’s historic resistance to LGBTQ rights, “Final Week Tonight with John Oliver” author Jill Twiss teamed up with illustrator EG Keller to produce the parody, A Day In The Life Of Marlon Bundo, through which the lead rabbit is homosexual.
Charlotte Pence mentioned “imitation is probably the most honest type of flattery” when commenting on the competing tome, which has soared above her family’s version within the charts.
“In all seriousness, his ebook is contributing to charities I feel we will all get behind,” she added. “We’ve got two books which can be giving to charities which can be about bunnies, so I’m all for it actually.”
Proceeds from the gross sales of the Pence’s ebook will go to packages supporting kids with most cancers and the combat towards human trafficking. The parody ebook’s proceeds will go to the LGBTQ youth-supporting Trevor Mission and the AIDS United charity.
Right here’s how Marlon Bundo’s official Instagram account reacted to the competitors:
