The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi didn’t feature in Inter-Miami’s latest game, which was also the U.S Open Cup’s final against Houston Dynamo due to injury. Without his service, Inter-Miami fell short of capturing the throne of the U.S. Open Cup. The Argentine legend was watching from the stand as Houston Dynamo won the match 2-1 and got their silverware.
As Messi was not fit enough to participate in the final, many Houston fans were in the stand hoping to get a glimpse of the World Cup winner. One Houston fan crossed all limits of expectation as he printed Messi 10 on his Dynamo jersey and went to enjoy the match.
