Kevin Costner Wins Legal Battle But Yellowstone Makers Aren’t Happy

Kevin Costner threatened that he’ll go to court over the ongoing drama around the Paramount+ series ‘Yellowstone’.

The famous American actor reveals this within the series’ crew while testifying about the child support issue as a part of his ongoing proceedings with his wife Christine Baumgartner.

Mr. Costner revealed that his financial condition was not up to the mark in 2023 and Paramount already owes him $12 million for not filming the second part of ‘Yellowstone’ Season 5.

Kevin also showed his disappointment in the court for not participating in the No. 1 show on Television. 

Christine demanded that Costner have to pay $248,000 a month for their 3 children Cayden, Logan, and Grace. But Costner informed that he is earning much less in 2023 and he could not sustain the standard of living that he used to.

Finally, Kevin won his child support case and now he has to pay $63,209 per month. Temporarily, Christine was receiving $129,755 for the three children before the decision was made.

Yellowstone’s 5th season is going to be released in two parts. The first part will be premiered in November and the second part is also supposed to be dropped in November but everything is subjected to SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Costner has requested to lower his schedule for the show as he is also working on his passion project, the four-part film series ‘Horizon’. 

The 68-year-old actor has reportedly rescheduled his Horizon project for Yellowstone but when he was ready to begin shooting, the scripts weren’t ready at that time.

However, the makers of Yellowstone were not happy about his diminishing interest in Kevin for the show. Yellowstone creator Kevin Sheridan commented in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter that he is disappointed about the departure of Costner from the show.
