Tyson Fury is one of the best boxers in the 21st century. He cheekily hinted that he may call out megastar Ryan Reynolds when Wrexham will face Morecambe on November 25, 2023. It may sound awkward but it can be true.
Tyson Fury is set to start his journey in an exhibition boxing tournament against UFC star Francis Ngannou on October 28, 2023. Ryan Reynolds could be his next target once he finishes his business with Francis.
Speaking behind the scenes on the Furocity YouTube channel, Tyson asked a group member Amy if she will watch the Wrexham vs. Morecambe match. When Amy revealed that she would be interested in watching the match, Tyson broke the secret that he’ll call out Ryan Reynolds, the husband of Blake Lively, on the day.
The 46-year-old American actor has been a very popular face among British fans since taking over as co-owner at Wrexham alongside Rob McElhenney. Ryan often travels to Welsh just to support his team Wrexham A.F.C. Due to his efforts, Wrexham won promotion back into the Football League in the 2022-23 season.
In the past, Tyson Fury showed his interest in buying a local football team and supporting the football in his location.
The fight between Fury and Reynolds could be a battle between Disney and Netflix as well. Recently, Tyson Fury has starred in a show “At Home With The Furys” on Netflix. Tyson’s wife Paris Fury and their seven children were featured in that show.
At the same time, Wrexham also started their streaming services in the form of “Welcome to Wrexham” season two, on Disney+.
Wrexham is currently standing at fourth in the Second-Division Football League and five points ahead of Morecambe who are placed at 16th position.

Fighting celebrities like Francis Ngannou and Ryan Reynolds reduces the possibility of fighting Oleksandr Usyk, who called out Tyson Fury multiple times to unify the Heavyweight belt. If Tyson Fury shows more interest in fighting celebrities, then perhaps we will never know who is the best Heavyweight boxer of our generation.
