Is ‘The Creator’ Filmed in Thailand?

As the trailer of ‘The Creator’ released, we have seen some locations that look similar to Thailand. Well, it is not surprising that a Hollywood film chose Thailand as its location. Previously we have seen Fast and Furious 9 was shot in Krabi, and The Hangover Part-2 and Star Wars: Episode III were also filmed in Phang Nga Bay, Thailand.

‘The Creator’ is a sci-fi movie set in the future, which describes the battle between humans and artificial intelligence. The architect of AI, “The Creator” created a deadly weapon that threatens the existence of life.

To tackle this problem, a retired special force agent Joshua was deployed to venture into enemy territory to hunt down The Creator and bring peace into the world once again.

The star cast includes John David Washington who plays the role of Joshua. Apart from John, Madeleine Yuna Voyles, Gemma Chan, Ken Watanabe, and Marc Menchaca are also present in the movie.

In the trailer, you can find a few locations in Thailand that were used for shooting the movie. These locations include Kanchanaburi (also known as the Death Railway), Airport Rail Link (in Bangkok), and Makkasan Station (in Bangkok). Maybe they have used more locations from Thailand which we will be able to find out while watching the movie in the theater.

The Creator will be released in the theater on September 29. The film is written and directed by Gareth Edwards. The film is produced by 20th Century Studios, New Regency Productions, and Entertainment One.
