Erling Haaland Breaks Andy Cole’s Record Against Fulham

Erling Haaland broke another record against Fulham when Manchester City thrashed the visitors by a 5-1 scoreline.

After a 2-1 scoreline for Manchester City in the first half, Erling Haaland just blew up Fulham by a hattrick in the second half, one of them was a penalty as well.

Except for Haaland, Julian Alvarez (31’) and Nathan Ake (45+5’) found the net in the first half. Although Tim Ream equalized for Fulham in the 33rd minute.

Haaland gave his 9th assist in the Premier League when Alvarez scored the first goal.

The first goal of Haaland was a perfect cool-headed one-on-one finish against Bernd Leno which was perfectly set up by Phil Foden. The second one came in the 70th minute with a powerful penalty kick. 

With the hat trick, Haaland became the fastest player in the Premier League to score 50 goals contribution in just 39 appearances. Prior to Erling, former English footballer Andy Cole was the fastest to score 50 goals contribution in the Premier League in just 43 appearances.

In the added time, Haaland completed his hat trick from the assist of Sergio Gomez. In his 39 Premier League matches, Haaland scored 42 goals and 9 assists with an average of 1.077 goal contributions per match.

Last year, Erling Haaland also broke the record for most goals scored in a season in EPL when he scored 36 goals in 35 matches.
