Sheikh Jassim sent best wishes to the new Manchester United owner Sir Jim Ratcliff

Despite being unsuccessful in the bidding war for Manchester United’s ownership, Sheikh Jassim still hopes for the best for the club. Reportedly, Sir Jim Ratcliff is preparing to acquire 25% of the club very soon.

Sheikh Jassim last month announced that he would withdraw his offer of £5billion ($6.2billion). But the transfer saga continues. The Qatari banker’s bid was for the entirety of the club in a debt-free deal and promised to invest up to £ 1.38 billion ($ 1.7 billion) in infrastructure development.

However, the Glazers family rejected the offer, and Sir Jim Ratcliff is ready to take over 25% of the club for  £1.25billion ($1.5billion). However, the decision of the Glazers family is not well-accepted by fans and football pundits.

However, there is some bad blood between Sheikh Jassim’s camp and the Glazers but Sky Sports reported that the Qatari owner sent best wishes to the club and Sir Jim Ratcliff for acquiring the share. Sheikh Jassim said he will always be a Red Devil’s supporter and wish them to be “as successful as possible” going forward.
