Amber Heard is set to return to Hollywood after her defamation trial loss against ex-partner Johnny Depp. She is expected to return to warrior mode by battling a demonic possession as shown in the trailer of ‘In The Fire’ released on Wednesday.
About ‘In The Fire’:
Amber will play the role of Grace Burnham, a psychiatrist in Conor Allyn’s latest paranormal psychological thriller based on the 1890s event. Amber will be seen on a remote plantation in Colombia curing a disturbed boy with inexplicable abilities.
As soon as Amber starts the treatment, a war between them ignites. The village priest already warned that the boy is caused by a demon and the cause of the village’s woes.
Amber Heard completed the filming of ‘In The Fire’ in March 2023. Just after a few months, in June, Amber lost the defamation case against Johnny Depp which created a big question mark in her career.
In June, a Virginia jury awarded Johnny Depp $ 15 million in his suit against Amber Heard and ruled that the 60-year-old actor was defamed when his ex-wife Amber described herself as a ‘domestic abuse survivor’ in The Washington Post back in 2018.
Amber in an interview with Hollywood Reporter has said that the film is a mediation on the supernatural power of love that has been described through a strong-willed and independent woman at the turn of the 20th century. She also showed gratitude to the director and the crew members for the wonderful opportunity.
‘In The Fire’ will be released in the theater and on digital and on-demand platforms on October 13, 2023. The film is directed by Conor Allyn and Produced by Iervolino & Lady Bacardi, Angel Oak Films, and Margate House Films.
