Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana was insisted on speaking about his relationship with defender Harry Maguire before the Bayern Munich clash.
Onana joined Manchester United from Inter Milan back in July and just after joining United, he already had a clash with Harry Maguire on the field during the pre-season tour in USA.
Onana was furious at Maguire during their 3-2 loss against Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas. The goalkeeper came racing out from the box to shout and lambast Harry Maguire after sloppily losing position.
Ahead of the Bayern Munich match, Andre Onana was asked to talk about his relationship with Maguire in a press conference on Wednesday evening.
Onana replied Harry is a really nice guy and they both have a good friendship. Onana also informed that they had talked that morning before arriving at the press conference.
While clarifying the incident that happened against Dortmund, Onana said that what happened on the pitch, let it remain on the pitch. They are professional and they don’t think much about what happened on the pitch once the game finished.
While speaking about replacing David De Gea who was released this summer from Manchester United, said that it was not easy to replace such a great keeper.
The start that Onana experienced at United was not expected but he is very confident that everything will be fine very soon.
