Dmitry Bilvol and Teddy Atlas Predicted the Winner of Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo

Canelo Alvarez will face Jermell Charlo for the undisputed super middleweight belt. Meanwhile, former opponents of Canelo Alvarez, Dmitry Bivol, and fight analyst Teddy Atlas have given their early predictions for the fight.

The 33-year-old Mexican superstar will battle undisputed light-middleweight world champion Jermell Charlo at the T-Mobile arena on September 30 at 8 p.m. ET.  Of course, Canelo will start the fight as a favorite but Jermell can turn the table with his skill and IQ.

Predictions of Dmitry Bivol and Teddy Atlas:

Dmitry Bivol fought and beat Canelo Alvarez last year with a very dominant performance and took social media by storm. This time he gave his early prediction for the Canelo Alvarez and Jermell Charlo’s fight through Twitter or X.

Bivol said it is a very interesting fight and he thinks Canelo will win the fight. But Bivol will be happy if Charlo wins this against all odds. Bivol is actually more interested in the unification of the 168 lbs division.

Previously Bivol showed his interest for a rematch with Canelo either in 175 or 168 lbs division. Hopefully, in the future, the rematch will happen as Canelo claimed that he is a better boxer than Bivol but due to injuries before the fight, he couldn’t give his hundred percent.

Popular fight analyst and former boxing trainer Teddy Atlas also thinks the same. Teddy thinks the fight will go to distance and Canelo will win by a ‘questionable’ decision.

Teddy thinks Canelo is a good puncher but it’ll be interesting to see if he can catch Charlo with his punch. He also added, that if the fight is a close one, then Canelo will need his friends to make the decision as Canelo has a lot of friends in the industry. Teddy also mocked, “The old timers would say, you have to knock him out to win and hope you don’t get disqualified for knocking him out!”.
