Getafe is keen to sign the Manchester United player

It’s been a few months since Mason Greenwood has been a part of the Spanish club Getafe. He already managed to score 3 goals and 3 assists for Getafe in all 10 appearances.

Now Getafe manager José Bordalás wants to buy Mason Greenwood permanently. Getafe bosses think they can offer Manchester United something that might tempt the English Club to sell the player.

After dropping the charges of rape, Mason Greenwood made a shocking deadline-day loan move to Getafe to rebuild his career, which nobody was expecting. Getafe is paying only £75,000 of his actual salary. However, in June 2025 Greenwood’s contract with Manchester United will expire, and hence United may try to sell him.

The 22-year-old right winger seems to be happy after settling in Madrid with his partner Harriet Robson and his daughter. Manchester United’s ex-sporting director Paul Mitchell was seen while attending a match between Getafe and Cadiz on Monday. This will ignite the possibility that Greenwood might return to Old Trafford after his loan season.
