Victor Osimhen replied with a perfect response to a TikTok video on Wednesday night after scoring a goal against Udinese. The Napoli striker is considering taking action against his current club over the TikTok video that mocks him.
Napoli published a video on their TikTok account just a day after Victor Osimhen missed a penalty against Bologna on Sunday. The event created a big tension between manager Rudi Garcia and the player as Garcia substituted Osimhen in the 86th minute against Bologna. The match finally concluded in a 0-0 draw.
After the incident, it seems Victor Osimhen has left his penalty duties as Piotr Zielinski took the penalty against Udinese. Osimhen doubled the lead in the 39th minute but didn’t celebrate.
Osimhen was Napoli’s best player in 2022-23 he scored 31 goals and 5 assists for Napoli. His current contract with Napoli will expire in 2025.
Victor’s agent Roberto Calenda issued a statement on Tuesday night stating what Napoli did in their TikTok account was totally unacceptable. First, they mocked Osimhen on social media and later deleted it. He also claimed that the video badly affected Victor’s reputation and emotions. Calenda also hinted that they might go to court to protect the rights and reputation of Victor Osimhen. It is reported that Osimhen deleted all of his images from social media wearing Napoli’s jersey.
