Actress Veronica Ngo aka Kami of The Creator has revealed that she requested the director Gareth Edwards to let her character have some dialogues in Vietnamies.
According to Veronica, she and Edwards had a long discussion while filming that movie regarding Kami should have a few lines in her local language because she thinks it’ll make her role more realistic.
Edwards didn’t disappoint Kami, he agreed to have some dialogues in Vietnamese. Veronica praised the director that he always prioritizes actors’ talent and creativity and helps them freely express their characters.
The dialogue in Vietnamese in ‘The Creator’ was added by Veronica herself. Of course, before adding those dialogues, Veronica approved them to Edwards. The details of the Vietnamese dialogues have not been released yet, you can find them only in theaters.
The 44-year-old Vietnamese actress also added that she felt actors don’t have any boundaries in order to be creative. Only patience and effort can decide their success.
Veronica started her career back in 1999. She was featured in films like Bay Rong (Clash), Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. In 2015, she started to work as a movie producer.
The storyline of ‘The Creator’ is based on 2070 when we can see a battle between humans and artificial intelligence. The movie is set to premiere on 29 September 2023.
