Kim Kardashian went up with former NFL player Tom Brady for a good cause. They both attended REFORM Alliance’s first-ever Casino Night Event on Saturday at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The 42-year-old American model went head-to-head in a bidding war with the NFL star.
They helped to collect $24 million for criminal justice reform at the event. Brady and Kim fought back and forth with one another for a painting in the auction and eventually, each of them gave $2 million.
Kim and Brady said they both will work it out among themselves who would get to take home the artwork. The artist of the painting, George Condo has agreed to make a second painting for whoever left empty-handed.
Tom Brady also offered up an unwashed Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey which he wore during his 700th career touchdown as another bidding item in the event.
Kim and Brady first met during Michael Rubin’s star-studded White Party in The Hamptons earlier this year. According to PEOPLE, they barely had any conversations between them.
The REFORM Alliance Casino Royale also witnessed the presence of other A-list stars alongside Kim and Brady were: Travis Scott, Matthew McConaughey, Tiffany Haddish, Jack Harlow, Kevin Hart, and many more. The event was co-chaired by Michael Rubin and Meek Mill and the founding partner was JAY-Z.
Robert Rooks, the CEO of REFORM Alliance told PEOPLE that in his 25-year career, he never imagined a night like that even in his wildest dream. He applauded that people around the world had attended the event to celebrate the work of REFORM and help them raise money for reforming the law.
