Rachel McAdams is Set to make Broadway debut: Know about her new role in “Mary Jane”

Rachel McAdams will make her Broadway debut in Pulitzer Prize finalist Amy Herzog’s play ‘Mary Jane’. Anne Kauffman will direct the play, which is scheduled to begin on 2 April 2024 at Manhattan Theatre Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. An opening date and other castings will be announced later.

Rachel McAdams is already an Oscar nominee for her performance in ‘Spotlight’. Rachel was recently seen in last spring’s film adaptation “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret.”, a best-selling novel of Judy Blume.

Rachel’s other famous work includes “Doctor Strange,” “The Notebook,” “Sherlock Holmes,” and “The Family Stone”. “Mary Jane” will be Rachel’s debut on Broadway.

Amy Harzog is credited for her new version of “A Doll’s House” for Broadway starring Jessica Chastain, which was nominated for the Tony Award in 2023.  Her other works include “4000 Miles,” “After the Revolution” and “Belleville.”

Mary Jane is the story of a single mother who deals with a very tough family situation while showing optimism and humor. The book was originally published in 2017, April.
