Jawan: First Day Box Office Collection

Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited action-thriller movie ‘Jawan’  was finally released in theaters on 7 September 2023, with an electrifying start at the box office.

Early estimates give a hint that ‘Jawan’ can be the biggest Bollywood opener of all time. 

The impression of the movie was not secret when fans, critics, and industry insiders attended early screenings and later flooded the social media with compliments.

Positive reviews from critics and word of mouth from common people indicate that Shah Rukh Khan’s new movie at last lived up to the expectations.

Jawan Box Office Prediction:

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie is anticipated to collect a staggering 75 cr Rs on its first day across all languages in India. Pathan collected 27.02 cr. in Hindi on its opening day but Jawan collected more in Southern states.

However, the film was released on Thursday, and the Hindi version showed an impressive 46% occupancy, which increases as time goes on. 

The morning shows also showed a good occupancy rate around the states. Kolkata had the highest occupancy with 66%, whereas Hyderabad comes next with 62% and NCR Delhi recorded an occupancy of 42%. The overall occupancy for the morning shows was approximately 43%.

According to Taran Adarsh, Jawan has already beaten SRK’s previous movie ‘Pathan’ in terms of ticket sales on opening day. Jawan has sold approximately 14 lakh tickets on its opening day, which is now a record in Bollywood.

Jawan started his journey with a strong impression among the audience but Pathan is still the king of the opening day showdown.
