Mortal Kombat 1 has announced its latest playable fighter; it is the homecoming of a long-lost favorite. Nitara will join the battlefield after 17 long years of waiting, like other returning names like Ashrah and Havik.
NetherRealm Studios has announced a trailer showing the vampire of Outworld attacking her opponents with her claws, fangs, and aerial abilities. The video of the trailer is shared by the ‘voice-over artist’ none other than Megan Fox.
Nitara is a character in the Mortal Kombat series who made her debut in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance back in 2002. Since its inception, Nitara has been played only in a few games.
Apart from her small cameo in Mortal Kombat 11, she also received some screen time in Mortal Kombat Movie (2021). She has a spectacular fan following despite her appearances in the game being very few.
Nitara is a vampire, similar to Shang Tsung. She preys life of others to remain alive by drinking the blood rather than souls or life energy.
Despite her evil nature, Nitara can be classified as a self-serving and morally neutral character. She has her own gothic appearance and has been on a quest to separate her own realm from Outworld.
